my thoughs exactly. everybody wants to take off the alternater and go back to the "original" generator. They spend a lot of time and money getting it working and then expect it to stay that way. well folks, it just ain't so. Generators take a lot of maid setting. sand paper the armiture and ground out the field terminal and see if it don't go to charging.
