I am gonna stand behind you on this farmall kid. The SM and the SMTA were built during the same time. You bought with TA or w/o TA. 400 it was an option. I have a '54 SM. I have seen a lot of SM's and SMTA's. My dad used to own a 1468. Just hold your ground.
