The Super C serial numbers were 6 digit (1xx,xxx), the plain C's were 5 digits. The Super C did have specific decals...people seem to use them interchangeably. Probably half or more of the "Super C"'s I see advertised are actually C's with SC decals. But then the Super C that I bought was advertised as a C. The Super C had a bigger engine (123 cu. in. vs. the 113 in the C). The curved pedals and lower crank hole in the grill are the easiest visual cues to identifying a Super C. There were supposedly many other improvements in the castings that increased weight and improved strength. None visible that I'm aware of. Good luck, Bill
