The operators manual for my 140 states to use an IH hydraulic oil (IH 6?)in the hydraulics and tranny and rear end and final drives. Tractor Supply has a premium grade hydraulic fluid that they sell that they recommend even for "wet brakes". The fellow I bought mine from used motor oil. My hydraulics improved when I lowered the weight to 20w (not 10w 20). The manual recommends loosening the cap and then running the levers back and forth 10 to 12 times (no load) to "quickly remove air from the system". You might give that a shot.
