I rebuilt a 351W for my old Ford 4x4 and it has the same thing. Sounds like a mix between a knock and a small pebble in a tin can going up and down with the piston. But only when the engine is "floating" in the RPM range - around 2500 rpm. Any slower or faster and the engine has a somewhat load on it and the sound goes away. Only makes the noise when it's "floating". Been like that for a long time. About 5 years now I guess. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's making the noise all the time. Then of course it's on the way to self-destruction. In my case, I just don't let the engine "float". Does that 560 knock all the time or just sometimes?
