If you remove the plug wire on the knocking cyl. does the knock go away? If it does I'd say it is wrist pin or rod. Some of those gas 263 carboned up bad, thatcould cause a knock when a piece comes loose.If it is carbon what I do is remove the air cleaner hose from the carb. Get a windex or spray bottle. fill it with water. with the engine warmed up and running a little above idle spray in the water,in fact try to kill it but don't.this will disolve the carbon, don't laugh til you tried it
