Jonathan...I ordered one of those "new" oil pressure guages from OEM for my '52 H. I had previously been running a numeric guage from my late model race car that I knew was accurate. My oil pressure was 65 lbs...excellent pressure. I put on the "new" guage from OEM and it was as yours is, in the "red zone". I called OEM on it and they very pleasantly sent another one, but this one only reads "half way" which I interpret as 35-40 psi...still not accurate but what the he!! ya gonna do? The neelde is even offset from center slightly. I do not have a very high opinion of these "repro" guages. My suggestion is to compare the new one with another known good guage
