Your wife is right on that one, a nice collection of old tractors is not much fun if you don't have a decent roof over your head.
Also, as much as I hate to admit it, I think maybe the 430 JD might bring more money than a 460 Farmall, I would do some price checking before making any kind of trade, just to make sure you don't come out on the short end of the stick.
