My Super C did the same thing last summer. After spending a month blaming it on the carburator, I finally got desperate and shined a bright light into the gas tank and found that there was a dead bumble bee floating around in the bottom. Every once in a while it would float over to where the hole where the gas goes to the bowl and starve the motor. Once the motor shut off, the bee would move around again and the motor would run fine for 15-20 minutes.
