Hi I'm TEC.

One of the tips I'll give out this month is related to the needle valve and seat on the Farmall Cub tractor with the IH made carb. The needle/seat assembly from IH (#251300R21 ) sometimes sticks causing the carb to flood out. The solution is to replace the needle valve with one from an
IH Cub Cadet. I recommend you use Kohler Engines part # KH-25-757-01 carb kit to do this. The gaskets in the Kohler kit are useless here, you only need the needle valve. Priced at about $8 the Kohler kit is a bargain fix for a messy problem.
