The prep is ALL the work. Painting takes a couple hrs max. Thats why Shlibe can paint a car for $195. No prep.
But it also depends on who was buggin who. I know I would not be in any hurry to be painting any ones tractor. Might take $650 to get me to do it too. I wouldnt charge a friend, I.E. the drip thing. $650,s not worth getting in a fight with a buddy. I would do it for free and he would deal with any drips.
Sounds like I am all over the place with my opinions on this doesnt it? Thats what happens when buddys start charging buddys. Usually just turns into a mess.
