Carl: I am really lousy at electrical problems and schematics, but ---- there are schematics around. Check out http://www.atis.net/CubFAQ/cub_faq_2.html. Both the wiring for the magneto and the battery start versions is there. That should help. Oh, you can also go to the manual server at the link below and check out the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals, they are chock full of stuff.
