You can't go wrong at that price, if T/A never works. I'd buy it & worry about T/A later,you don't have to have it any way. The 300U was built in '55-'56. Good dependable tractors. Is mower and plow 2-point or 3-point? Where are you located, here in the southeast, $500 would be a good buy for what you described. If you decide to buy it, get a manual and post back here, plenty of people on here to help you with the adjustment.
