I read through about 75 responses to T/a questions and haven't found my answer yet. Help? Found a '46(?) 300U with a homemade front hydr. blade, a fast locking hitch system in the rear but it has a spot to hook a top link in(??), p/s, it starts immediately after a tug with a small puff of smoke, rear tires about 75%, fronts are auto tires. The guy wants $500 for it. The T/A doesn't change at all. He thought it was stuck in low but it'll outrun the 9N in 5th so gotta be high, right? What would the diagnosis be with it not changing anything when I pull the lever? I'm thinking maybe just a clutch adjustment? Don't know. Thanks for any help, as always. Loren Oh, and there's a 2-16 plow and 8' sickle bar to buy with it for next to nothing it sounds like.
