i'm not talking about the throw out bearing. there is another bearing on the outer shaft which is called the iptoe shaft (i think thats how you spell it) and the cover you take off there is a seal on that and an o-ring. the way it sounds i'm pretty sure your going to need that bearing. with that seal just take a screw driver and pound on the out side ouf the seal and make it bend in and it will come right out for ya.
