Normal then Low Oil Pressure

I have an IH 504 that had an oil pressure guage installed when I bought it. I recently changed the oil/filter and put in 10W/30 oil. When the tractor first starts the oil pressure is about 55psi, but once the engine warms up it drops to about 20psi. I'm curious why the pressure would be about normal when starting but then drop so much after operating. I read in the service manual that the normal oil pressure should be about 45. Should I be concerned about 20psi? If so is there an easy way to tell whether it is the oil pump? Thanks, Carl.
