A. It was hooked by a clevis to a bar that bolted to a implememt stud on the inside of each of the final drives. It was raised and lowered by chains bolted to the back and on each side of the planter. The chains were attached to the rear cultivator lift arms. The layoff plow, mounted to the front lift, plowed the furrow for the seed, and he applied fertilizer to the row with a distributor at the same time. I think the same setup would work on a cub, but the hitching bar underneath would have to probably be a different length.
