Loren: The hydraulic pump is on the right side of the engine and is connected with 2 pipe type oil lines to the reservoir under the seat. The lines are sealed with O'rings as well as the control valve assembles on the right side of the reservoir. A gasket seals the reservoir to the top of the housing. The dipstick is under the seat. If you remove the res. besure to inspect and clean the hyd. screen. Before you split it get a book or some advice from a tech. in your area.Good Luck, Ken
