Was there ever a front mounted spreader for an H?

I was planting peas at the deer lease yesterday; its hard to get enough help and to haul two tractors... I started formulating a plan in my mind to mount a belt drive spreader to the front of my H and pull a disk behind. With one tractor I could then disk it a time or two, and plant and cover it at the same time, either only throwing peas as wide as my disk, or as wide as two or three discs, as I could go back over the missed strips. Any reason why a belt drive wouldn't run a spreader mounted 90 degrees on the front? Could just use flashing to deflect and or funnel them around the wheel to fly forward. This might not only simplify my deer lease planting, but would get the H out of the shed. Thanks, matt.
