looked at a 504 for sale today. had something called a torque amplifier on it, a lever on left side ahead of the clutch. when actuating the lever nothing noticable happens. wondering what this is and how it works. also the exhaust comes out of the manifold and immediately turns downward and comes out under the rear axle. the hood looks origanal and there is no hole for exhaust. it is not a rowcrop machine. also this machine has power steering, ive heard that was optional on this model is this rare? this tractor also has a diesel engine, how common is this? interested in older tractors but dont know a lot about them, kind of learning as i go, any information would be great.
