I found the quickest and most efficient way was to remove the engine, turn it upside down on blocks and bash the pistons out with a pipe and a big hammer. Sometimes the piston comes out and sometimes you drive the sleeve out. Either way it will get the job done. The pistons will be damaged but it sure nice to have a tractor with a new sleeve & piston set in it. I don't care to spend the money on the project but sometimes that is what it comes down to.
