Farmall C Questions - Hydraulics

Hey everyone. Got another question here. I recently got my Farmall C running, and I had to rebuild the hyrdraulic pump, due to that the previous owener ran it dry. I put new seals and gaskets into it just to be on the safe side. I was using the C today, and when I started the hydraulics worked fine, but when I was done, there was no fluid left in the resivoir. I wasn't using the hydraulics during the day. I am guesing it leaked through the timing into the crankcase, as that has been known to happen. Plus I didn't see it leak externally. Is there anything that I can do, short of another rebuild kit, which wasn't sheap, to solve this problem? Thank you for your help.
