Yep, they (my Red Mechanics) tell me that this model came from the factory with that extra battery setting back there.

I can't imagine it shipping without a cover tho.

The two holes in the floorboard are "staggered" like a normal battery hold-down usually is; one on one corner and another katty-wamphus on the other corner.
