KB: That is exactly where I had the batteries on my 656, below floor board level and on each side of starter. I don't think I had 4' of battery cable in total. I initially put the batteries down there so I could use larger batteries. I also installed a cab at same time and could see, that servicing the batteries would become a night mare, in the factory location.
