IH 140 rock shaft.

I think it is called the rock shaft, if not it is the part that mounts to the touch control box output shaft, the right hand side. The right front cultivator lift arm attaches to it to rase and lower the culivator frame. Anyway, one of the 2 "ears" if you will have broken off so I cannot use it as it. I have removed the large retaining nut and cannot get the rockshaft to budge from the shaft. How does this come off without breaking more than I already have. there is not enough clearance between the rockshaft and the touch controll box to get a set of gear pullers under it and the manual I have for this tractor is very limited in the removal of these parts. Thanks for any help.
