BOY There's opinions ALL OVER the map! It depends on the ply rating of the tire in question. H's & most M's now have 4-ply tires, some may have 6-ply. 12-14 PSI is enough for a 4-ply rear, maybe 16 on a heavily loaded 6-ply, like an M with a mounted corn picker. Same with the fronts, a 4-ply 5.50 or 6.00 X 16 30-32 psi is enough, maybe 36 if a front end loader is mounted. A 6 ply can go to 42-45, and an 8-ply can probably handle 50 psi. Do a search on FIRESTONE/BRIDGESTONE and look under AG tires. Firestone has one of the most informative tire websites.
