Breaking a 240-U Apart

If anyone out there has had any experience in breaking a 240 apart, I'd sure like to hear fom you.

Is there anything I should be aware of that the manual doesn't cover in its short paragraph on how to do this? Any tips on how-to-do, and what to lookoout for would be appreciated. I apparently have a front seal that has gone bad on the rear case, and have to separate the clutch housing from the engine and rear case in order to change it. Not having done this before, I will gladly take any advice that I can get.
