I am still tying to track down the guy to get the info on the acid dip... All I know is that he took the parts to them and they did it in a few days. It was some outfit I think a little west of Milwaukee Wisonsin but this is not an uncommon procedure. Might try calling any auto restoration shop and ask where they have their parts acid dipped and they should be able to help. This process is how most resotre old cars because there is no way the rust can com back. I think they charged by the weight, I'm not sure I will post the info when I get it....sorry for the delay!!!p
