I agree with Rustyfarmall. Clean the tank. I don't know where some guys get the idea that gasoline and fuel doesn't age, but it does. When
it does it causes major deposit formation problems. All of the junk, particulates and such,
in the tank has to go by way of the bowl and then the carb. I am currently fighting with the same problem on an H. Being a little lazy I always look for a quick fix, but after flushing the tank several times, all I have done is plug jets in the carb. If you choke it it will run, but it has no power. Also I still notice it smoking sometimes, but when it runs okay it doesn't smoke. I am convinced that there are heavy deposits still on the tank walls.
