Greg: I never could figure why anyone would buy a turbo for a 282D 560. You could crank a 100 hp out of them just as they came from factory. I ran one for 11,000 hours in 17 years at 90 hp. In the end it put two pistons through the block on a silage blower, and scattered parts all over the barnyard. The 560D and a 656D were the most economical horse power I ever farmed with. Repair bills on those two tractors were almost non existant during the first 10,000 hours for each. For the horse power put out, fuel economy was number one. Of 16 tractors that I farmed with over the years, from a Super A to a 1066, the 560 and 656 were tops in my books.
