What kind of oil filters do you have on it. The reason I ask is you know the filters are on this engine up-side down and the correct filters have A stand pipe in them so the hold oil so at start up you dont have to fill both filters before the engine gets oil. I an not saying to use Case/IH filters just make sure the ones you use have the stand pipe. Also they should not have a by-pass built into the filter. The filter base has its own by-pass. Just a few things for you to look at. Look at the easy stuff first.
