Looked at a Farmall 140 for sale today. Its serial number was 59685. The owner did not know the tractor's age. It is being sold with cultivators and fertilizer rig. The paint is faded and the generator was replaced with an alternator. The hydraulics work fine. The pto works fine. The deluxe seat needs recovering. The engine runs well and has good oil pressure. It has a single point hitch and a front brush guard. It has rear wheel weights, but no front wheel weights. The owner wants $5000 for everything. Here in NC these little Farmalls bring more $$ than big tractors. Questions: 1) What year is this tractor? 2) The tires are mostly worn out. Approximately what would a full set of tires cost? 3) Where do you go for single point fast hitch implements like a turning plow and double gang disk harrow? Or do you buy 3 point hitch versions and adapt to single point? Thanks in advance for your advice, Bill
