I pull a 12' new holland haybine and a new holland 851 round baler with a 560d, (same motor)
with no power problems, however it seems a little light for the haybine. My 560 has a 2000 loader and handles 5.5 x 6 bales with ease. Buy a GOOD set of batteries and check your glow plugs and it will always start without either or block heater. I work my 282 hard and it loves it. Very smooth power and just over a gallon of fuel per hour, try that with a gasser. I have a neighbor with a 656d hydro and it goes 18 to 19 mph.
