Jared, Hello from East Wells,Vt. When Im brushhogging with my 32hp diesel, I dont run the rpm all the way up. With what Im cutting, 500rpm at the pto does a good job cutting. Basically whatever works for you. When I was cutting the fields with the 42A with the sicklemower I hardly used any rpm at all. Like CNKS said, you need enough rpm to run your hydraulics properly and the rest is up to you! scotty
