I have a "36" F20 which my father farmed with for many years. I started showing water in the cylinders so I disassembled it and found that the head was cracked. I tried to have it repaired but found that it had previous been welded and the area around the crack was too brittle to repair. I had to replace it. I ran across a couple more heads which had cracks in the heads between the cylinders. I finally bought one and had it repaired. So, apparently, it is a common thing for a crack to happen.
