C50 transmission

I don't know if this is too new for this forum or not and if it is than I'm sorry. My problem is sometimes I can't get this tractor in any gear at all. Sometimes it will work fine. Going to high range or to 4th seems to be the worst. Is there something to adjust or shim up or bend or something to give me some relief? The tractor only has 470 hrs, does it need to be used more? thanks
