Check the ignition system. See if you have spark - weak spark. Double check the engine timing. The distributor off a couple of degrees will make a big difference. Double check the gear timing on the distributor to distributor drive gear. One tooth off will make a big differnce. Probably not much of a problem to fix. Just finding the source. Since this is a 4H project. Let the project set for a day or two and think about the problem. Have a tall cool soft drink. Good luck.
