I guess you should have checked it out better before you bought it. We've all been victims at one point or another, but I've always found my 'pigs-in-a-poke' were because I didn't investigate enough. If the deal seems too good to be true, or if you think you're getting a hell of a steal, just remember somebody else has probably looked at the item and passed at one point or another.

Although it is certainly unscrupulous to misrepresent, if you go into a transaction believing you may get screwed, you'll look things over a bit harder. Learn from the mistake & save yourself some scratch in the future.
