You can look for casting codes, located on the axle housings, torque tube, engine block, etc. The codes will look like 6*15*I, which would indicate a casting date of June,15, 1939. The letter I is for 39, J is for 1940, K-41 etc. Not all letters are used so it does get confusing at times but if you can find these codes on the tractor, let us know what they are and someone will be able give you a clue as to what you have.
