if you take of the grill, there is a casing that the steering shaft goes in to, if you take the top off of it, you will see a round gear, some are moon shaped, if its round, then take it out and turn it a 1\4- 1\2 a turn. That should take out the play in the steering. It only works with round ones. Other guys may have other tricks.
