serial number for 606

Help! I need to find the engine serial number for my 606
deisel so I can get a major overhaul kit. So far I have
found the firing order cast on the block and something
that looks like a clock on the lower part of the block with
a hand pointing to 12. So far , no serial number. Where
is it and what are my options if I can 't find any. The
serviceman said there were 3 different kits, each one
for certain serial numbers. Please help! Thanks
