Have you tried blowing out the radiator core? Remove the radiator shell (tinwork) and carefully blow from the engine side towards the front to get all the garbage out. you may find a lot of grease if the steering gearbox has leaked. This is general preventive maintenance for any working tractor. I used to hang a burlap bag over the grill to help keep alfalfa leaves out of the radiator when stacking loose hay with a Farmhand F-10 loader.
