Thats a new one on me. If the ta slips in low then the ramp and roller(sprague)clutch is not holding.And they're ain't no fixing that without replacing it. You can adjust the TA release clutch(dry disk),sometime it does'nt release,but if the ta is good and it does'nt release then it is darn near impossible to get in and out of gear. I am not a big fan of the old ta's,come th think of it I don't much care for the hydraulic ones either. Ought to just get a ta eliminator kit.
