As a kid we mowed some with an H and a 7' sickle mower. You can also pull a 5' or 6' bush hog type of mower. If you are wanting to get into mowing for hire I would look for something with live pto on it. If you use a bush hog type mower you will want to get an overrun clutch to put on the mower. Without live pto you maybe spending a fair amount of time waiting for the mower to quit moving so that you can change gears or put it in gear. The sickle mower isn't bad but the rotary type mowers can spin several minutes before you can get it in gear. With both types of these mowers you will need to back up and get a head start on the mowing so that they are up to speed when you run into the grass/hay/weeds. Just my $0.02 worth.
