I discovered a little trick. I took all the bolts out that hold the front casting in and slid it out to the last 2 bolt holes and put the two bolts in the right side frame rail,then removed the left rail ,that left the whole front end hanging by 2, 5/8" bolts but that's plenty. And it exposed everything I needed to get at,and I didn't have to lift that 3oolb chunk of cast iron. .
