IT Shop manual Number IH-8. Recently purchased one for $24.?? including tax. Available at most farm/tractor supply stores or at the top of this page. This manual will give you a really good start - must have. Check the web. www.cleancompute has the operators manual for the Cub on line - free. Do some more web searching. You may find the operators manual on line - free. Most of the operator's information on the Cub will apply to the A. I wouldn't get the parts manual at this time. Most parts are available on line, at the local auto parts store and the Case/IH dealer. You will need the model, year and perhaps serial number when ordering parts. Later, If you decide on a major repair, the parts manual will come in handy. It will show how the part/s go together. Restoration: There are a number of books on the subject. I would wait until I had the tractor running and in decent mechanical shape before I started the cosmetics. The A is a nice little tractor. Best wishes on your "project".
