I have a 1983 484 and it has a filter on both sides spin on with the same part number. When I need to replace I go to the local dealer ask for filter to fit 484 and that what it calls for. One other thing I have a friend with a 385 he was bushhogging broke the housing on a stump he said it was pricey, your may have been replaced with the other style??????/
