Last winter I removed the fuel strainer from the tank due to it leaking and like you I installed new fuel filters and filled the tank with fuel but by gosh it would not start even after bleeding it at the pump. I finally tied the pickup onto the front of it and we pulled it nearly 1/4 mile before it fired. Once blead that was it has ran good since
