Adjust carb float on '47 Cub

I've just purchased a '47 Farmall Cub, serial #
10483, with an IHC carburetor. After installing
a carb kit, leakage and flooding has been cured.
However, the tractor still gives evidence of fuel
starvation and doesn't have much uumph. I
suspect that the carb float needs adjustment.
Can anyone tell me how to check for proper
float adjustment in this carb? Thanks.
