Don't think so -- I have difficulty hearing normal conversation. Never drove a tractor without a muffler. If I had, I probably couldn't hear ANY conversation. My deafness began when I was 12 -- wondered why my ears were numb when I went home for lunch, after driving a tractor for 5 hours. They cleared up in a few minutes. Too late, the damage was done. If he wants his tractor to make a lot of noise, he probably isn't interested in ear plugs. Need to change my handle to CN-DEAF.
